• Will a solar battery charger drain my batteries during the night?
No. Most sophisticated chargers have a diode built into the unit that ensures there will be no reverse current flow. This prevents any kind of an electrical charge from turning around and coming back from your device’s battery and into the batteries on board.• Are there waterproof chargers?
There are some water-resistant chargers, but complete submersion will kill any charger in a hurry. It is best to simply assume that the solar battery charger is not waterproof. Doing so could help the owner avoid any problems that could arise from carelessness in wet conditions later.It is always good to have any kind of battery chargers you can, regardless of whether it is solar or not.
